Our Community:

Erskine is a wonderful community nestled at the edge of several lakes and two major highways.  Erskine is the hub for education and healthcare for surrounding towns.  Since several lakes are in the immediate vicinity of Erskine, the town serves as a nice quaint place for visitors, cabin owners and lake home residents to enjoy golfing, a nice meal, and buy bait.   Summers are filled with swimming and boating on Lake Cameron, autumn is gorgeous with fishing, hunting, and enjoying bird migration, while winters on Lake Cameron are fun filled with ice car racing and snowmobiling.

You are welcome in Erskine!  We hope that you will consider living in Erskine.  The our businesses web page has a great section related to home building.  If you are looking to rent, apartment information is listed.  Often homes are available for rent also and the city office has good information on these options 218-687-4646.

Erskine is a great place to grow your business.  Erskine's location and access to transportation (scroll down for specifics) makes it a community prime for growth.  This combined with, the desire for people to move into this beautiful lakes area, and the outstanding work ethic of Northwestern Minnesota, make it a very attractive community for business owners.  If you are interested in learning more about buildings available in Erskine or businesses that are for sale please contact us.  There are also areas with existing infrastructure for business development.  These are in JobZ areas.  Click to learn about whether the tax savings from JobZ http://www.deed.state.mn.us/bizdev/jobz.htm would benefit your business.   For more information also call Cam Fanfulik at the Northwest Regional Development Commission cfanfulik@nwrdc.org.
